$59 Price-Drop Discovery Guarantee
Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Applies when Upper Hand Monitoring launches
In short: if we don't find a matching lower fare of at least $59 on your cabin, you get your $59 back.
Norwegian decides any fare adjustment. The guarantee is about what we find, not about what Norwegian approves.
What we promise
We monitor your booked Norwegian cruise for lower advertised fares that match your ship, sailing date, exact stateroom grade, number of guests, fare type and promotions.
If we don't find and document at least one matching advertised fare reduction of $59 or more during your monitoring period, we'll refund your $59 monitoring fee within 10 business days after your monitoring period ends, to the card you paid with.
What counts as a matching lower fare
- Same ship and sailing date
- Same exact stateroom grade (we never substitute a cheaper grade, even if yours is sold out)
- Same number of guests
- Same fare type and promotions
- Both prices compared on the same basis
- One single reduction of at least $59, found and saved with the date and time during your monitoring period
A lower fare isn't an adjustment
Finding a lower advertised fare does not guarantee that Norwegian will adjust your existing reservation. Norwegian alone decides whether your reservation qualifies and whether any lower fare, onboard credit, future cruise credit or upgrade is available. We do not submit requests to Norwegian; you or your travel agent does.
If Norwegian says the fare wasn't comparable
If Norwegian tells you the fare we found was not comparable to your booking (for example, a different stateroom grade, fare type or promotion), send us Norwegian's response within 30 days after your monitoring period ends. We'll review it. If the reduction we documented did not meet our matching criteria and no other matching reduction of $59 or more was documented, we'll refund your monitoring fee.
Norwegian declining for other reasons, such as timing, final payment status or a previous adjustment, does not by itself qualify for a refund. We keep watching for a new, lower fare until your monitoring period ends.
How long we monitor
Monitoring begins when your booking is registered and continues until 15 days before your sailing date. This is Upper Hand's own monitoring cutoff, not a Norwegian deadline. You may need to ask Norwegian sooner, depending on your reservation.
What the guarantee covers
This guarantee covers only the $59 paid to Upper Hand Monitoring. It does not cover your cruise fare or the amount of any potential savings.
