Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms govern your use of Upper Hand's text alert service. By signing up, you agree to the terms below.

What the service is

Upper Hand monitors publicly available economic data (inflation, jobs reports, Federal Reserve decisions, GDP) and weather data, comparing it against other public sources describing the same underlying event, and sends text updates when something notable is found. Subscribers also receive one daily check-in message.

Not financial advice

Upper Hand is not a financial advisor, broker, or licensed investment professional. Nothing sent through this service is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any contract. All trading decisions, and all risk, are entirely your own. Contract trading carries real risk of financial loss.

Messaging

By subscribing, you consent to receive automated text messages from Upper Hand. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Reply HELP for help or STOP at any time to cancel your subscription.

Subscription and billing

The service is billed monthly at the rate shown at signup. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period.

No guarantee of accuracy or results

While Upper Hand aims to provide accurate, timely information based on real market data, no guarantee is made regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any alert, nor any guarantee of financial outcome from acting on an alert.

Limitation of liability

Upper Hand is not liable for any financial loss, damages, or missed opportunity resulting from use of this service, including delayed, missed, or inaccurate alerts.
